Having spent 12 years as an in house lawyer with one of the largest housing associations in the UK, Danny Richardson is a well known figure in the housing association movement.  During his time at Home Group Danny was responsible for acquiring development sites the length and breadth of England.  With extensive expertise in inner city urban regeneration schemes Danny has been involved in multi million pound projects such as Grainger Town in Newcastle, Royal Quays on Tyneside, Hartlepool Marina and more recently Eastgate, Leeds.

During the late 1980s Danny specialised in acquiring land to house local people in rural areas such as National Parks.  Advising the Department of the Environment on the effectiveness of Planning Agreements to provide affordable housing in rural areas, Danny contributed to the resulting Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and in particular Section106 Planning Agreements which are an area of particular expertise to Danny.

In addition to dealing with complex planning and developments issues Danny and his team have considerable expertise in obtaining Possession Orders and Injunctions on behalf of Registered Social Landlords in respect of anti-social behaviour issues.
